Employment Connections offers a variety of career programs and resources
for jobseekers. Our certified staff will provide one-on-one assistance
to help you become successful and achieve your goals.
Basic Jobseeker Services
Your connection will begin with an orientation of our available services.
If you're unsure about which profession is right for you, we can conduct
individual assessments to identify and assess your career interests,
workplace and vocational skills.
Extended Jobseeker Services
Once you know your career goal, our staff will provide guidance with
career exploration, labor market information, and employer/employee matching
programs. Employment Connections also offers current lists of job openings
as well as counseling and referral services.
Specialized training programs provide jobseekers with the opportunity
to improve their workplace skills and expand their occupational capabilities.
These programs include:
- Employment workshops
- Personal development seminars
- Work preparation classes
Assistance Services
Employment Connections can help jobseekers file unemployment claims
and establish eligibility. Additional
services are available to those who qualify and include assistance
with obtaining support services such as childcare, transportation,
substance abuse and healthcare.
Partner Services
We are proud to partner with other organizations to provide jobseekers
with specific needs and resources for other employment opportunities.
The following partner services will assist you with your workforce needs.
- Agency for Workforce Innovation - Employment Security
Rep. Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Veterans Services Representative - Monday & Thursday
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

- Vocational Rehabilitation by appointment
- Job Corp by appointment
- Suwannee River Economic Council by appointment
Resource Room
Our resource room, available at full-service Employment Connections,
is equipped with Internet accessible computers, printers, fax machines,
typewriter, copier and ADA compliant computer hardware and software.
The room is available to jobseekers at no cost Monday thru Friday from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays until 7 p.m. Use the resource room to:
